Legal Information

Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to this website and the purchase and use of products, software, licenses and services supplied through AutoEcuMaster.

Last updated: July 11, 2026
Please read these terms before placing an order.

By accessing this website, creating an account, placing an order or activating a product or software license, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions, our Delivery & Returns Policy and our Privacy Policy.

01

Website Operator and Contracting Party

This website is operated by Automaster Technology - F.Z.E, a business registered in the Ajman Free Zone, United Arab Emirates.

References in these Terms to “AutoEcuMaster”, “we”, “us” or “our” mean Automaster Technology - F.Z.E. References to “customer”, “you” or “your” mean the individual or legal entity accessing the website or purchasing our products.

The sales contract is formed between the customer and Automaster Technology - F.Z.E, unless an invoice or order confirmation expressly identifies another authorized seller.

International fulfillment

Products may be manufactured, tested, packed and dispatched from our authorized warehouse or fulfillment facility in China or Vietnam, while the contracting seller is our UAE-registered business.

02

Eligibility and Authority to Purchase

By using this website or placing an order, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.

Where an order is placed on behalf of a workshop, company, dealer, distributor or other organization, the person placing the order confirms that they have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Products intended for professional vehicle diagnostics, programming or repair should only be purchased and operated by appropriately trained persons.

03

Products, Specifications and Compatibility

We sell automotive electronic products and related accessories, including ECU and TCU reading, writing, diagnostic and programming tools, cables, adapters, dongles, software licenses and related technical products.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, protocol lists and technical specifications are accurate. However, compatibility can depend on factors including:

  • Vehicle make, model, year and regional specification.
  • ECU or TCU manufacturer, family and hardware number.
  • Software version, firmware version and protocol update.
  • Connection method, including OBD, Bench, Boot, BDM or JTAG.
  • Required cable, adapter, license or additional hardware.
  • The condition and previous modification history of the control unit.
Compatibility confirmation

Customers should contact us before ordering when compatibility with a specific ECU, vehicle or function is essential. Please provide clear ECU label photographs, part numbers and vehicle information. A product is not defective solely because it does not support an unconfirmed vehicle, ECU or function.

Protocol coverage and software functions may change through updates. Screenshots, interface layouts and packaging may also change without materially reducing the product’s main function.

04

Lawful and Authorized Use

Our tools are supplied for lawful professional purposes such as vehicle diagnosis, repair, authorized programming, control-unit replacement, data recovery, calibration and other activities permitted by applicable law.

The customer is solely responsible for confirming that the purchase, possession and intended use of a product or function is lawful in the country or region where it will be used.

You must not use our products to:

  • Access, alter or program a vehicle or control unit without the lawful owner’s authorization.
  • Facilitate vehicle theft, unauthorized immobilizer bypass or unauthorized key programming.
  • Falsify odometer readings, vehicle history or ownership records.
  • Disable, bypass or defeat legally required emissions, safety or security systems where such activity is prohibited.
  • Violate intellectual property, anti-circumvention, environmental, road-safety, export-control or sanctions laws.
  • Damage vehicles, control units, networks, computer systems or third-party property.
Emissions and security functions

Functions involving DPF, EGR, AdBlue, emissions systems, immobilizers, keys or similar security-related systems may be restricted or prohibited in certain jurisdictions. Such functions must only be used where legally permitted, including authorized repair, testing, off-road, motorsport or other lawful applications.

We may refuse, cancel or restrict an order where we reasonably believe that a product may be used unlawfully, fraudulently or in violation of payment-provider requirements.

05

Orders and Contract Formation

Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase. An automatic order acknowledgement confirms that we received the order, but does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.

We accept an order when payment and any required verification have been completed and we send an order confirmation or dispatch the product.

We may request additional information before accepting an order, including:

  • Confirmation of the customer’s identity.
  • Confirmation of billing or delivery address.
  • Telephone, email or WhatsApp confirmation.
  • Compatibility information.
  • Additional documents for high-value or unusual transactions.

We may decline or cancel an order because of suspected fraud, incorrect pricing, stock unavailability, sanctions restrictions, incomplete information, payment risk or legal and compliance concerns.

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected and before fulfillment, we will initiate a refund to the original payment method, subject to applicable law and payment-provider processing.

06

Prices, Payments and Verification

Prices are displayed in the currency shown on the product page or checkout page. Currency conversion performed by a bank, card issuer or payment provider may result in a different final amount.

The customer authorizes us and our payment providers to charge the selected payment method for the full order amount, including any shipping charges or taxes shown at checkout.

Customers must provide accurate billing information and use a payment method they are authorized to use. We may delay shipment while a transaction is reviewed.

Payment disputes

Customers should contact us through our Contact Us page before filing a chargeback or payment dispute so that we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.

Filing a knowingly false or misleading payment dispute, including falsely claiming that an authorized transaction was unauthorized or that a delivered product was not received, may constitute fraud and may result in suspension of customer services or other lawful action.

Refund appearance time

After we initiate a refund, the customer’s bank, card issuer or payment provider may require additional time to display it.

07

Shipping, Delivery and Customs

Shipping, delivery, failed-delivery procedures, import duties and customs responsibilities are governed by our Delivery & Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Products are normally shipped from our authorized warehouse or fulfillment facility in China using a trackable international carrier.

Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address, telephone number, postal code and recipient name. Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking information and cooperating with the carrier and customs authorities.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, customs duties, VAT, import taxes, brokerage charges and local clearance fees in the destination country are the recipient’s responsibility.

Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed. Delays caused by customs, carriers, public holidays, weather, incorrect addresses or events outside our reasonable control do not automatically entitle the customer to cancel a dispatched order.

08

Returns, Cancellations and Refunds

All returns, cancellation requests and refunds are governed by our Delivery & Returns Policy.

A return must be approved before the product is sent back. The approved return address may be different from our registered office, website contact address or original dispatch address.

For change-of-mind, compatibility-related, incorrectly ordered or other non-defective returns, the customer is responsible for:

  • Return shipping charges.
  • Return customs duties and import taxes.
  • Customs clearance and brokerage fees.
  • Insurance, tracking and secure delivery of the returned product.

The customer must prepay all return clearance charges or use a DDP — Delivered Duty Paid — return service with duties, taxes and customs-clearance costs prepaid.

We will not normally accept return parcels requiring us to pay customs charges. Where charges are billed to us, they may be deducted from an eligible refund where permitted by law.

After physically receiving and inspecting the returned parcel, we will initiate an approved refund to the original payment method within 5 business days after receipt of the returned parcel.

For products confirmed to be incorrect, damaged in transit or defective, responsibility for return expenses will be handled in accordance with applicable mandatory consumer law and our written return authorization.

09

Software, Licenses, Activation and Digital Content

Software, modules, dongles, subscriptions, update services and digital functions may be governed by additional license conditions displayed on the product page, installation interface or software.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the customer receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the software for its intended lawful purpose. No ownership of software source code, trademarks or intellectual property is transferred.

The customer must not:

  • Copy, resell, sublicense or distribute software without authorization.
  • Share licenses, login details or activation credentials unlawfully.
  • Reverse engineer, bypass or disable licensing and security controls.
  • Use unauthorized modified software or firmware.
  • Attempt to access servers, accounts or updates without permission.
Activation affects return eligibility

Subject to mandatory consumer law, activated licenses, registered dongles, bound devices, downloaded software and customized digital products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns once activation, registration or access has begun.

Software functions and online services may require compatible operating systems, internet access, drivers, updates or third-party components. Customers are responsible for maintaining suitable computer equipment and network access.

10

Product Warranty and Technical Support

Any commercial warranty period will be stated on the applicable product page, invoice, warranty document or order confirmation. Where no commercial warranty is stated, applicable mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

Before authorizing a return or replacement, we may provide remote troubleshooting and request:

  • Product serial number and order number.
  • Photographs or video of the reported issue.
  • Software logs, screenshots or error messages.
  • Vehicle, ECU and connection information.
  • Confirmation that the correct cable, voltage and protocol were used.

Warranty coverage does not normally apply to damage caused by:

  • Incorrect wiring, reverse polarity or unstable voltage.
  • Failure to follow connection diagrams or operating instructions.
  • Water, fire, impact, corrosion or improper storage.
  • Unauthorized repair, opening, modification or component replacement.
  • Use of incompatible, pirated or modified software.
  • Vehicle, ECU, computer or network faults unrelated to the product.
  • Normal wear of cables, adapters and consumable accessories.
11

Customer Accounts and Security

Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their website account, passwords, software credentials and activation information.

You must notify us promptly if you believe that an account, license or payment credential has been used without authorization.

We may suspend an account where we reasonably suspect fraud, unlawful use, credential sharing, security abuse, payment disputes or violation of these Terms.

12

Intellectual Property

Website text, graphics, product photographs, videos, databases, software, logos, page layouts and other original content are owned by us or used with permission from their respective owners.

You may not reproduce, scrape, republish, modify, distribute or commercially exploit website content without prior written permission, except where allowed by applicable law.

Third-party product names, software names, vehicle brands and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance on this website does not necessarily imply endorsement, partnership or affiliation.

13

Website Availability and External Links

We may update, suspend or modify parts of the website, product catalogue, software downloads or technical content without prior notice.

The website may contain links to carriers, manufacturers, software providers, payment providers or other third parties. We are not responsible for third-party websites, systems, privacy practices or services outside our control.

We do not guarantee that the website or online services will always be uninterrupted, error-free or available in every country.

14

Limitation of Liability

Customers must create appropriate backups and follow professional procedures before reading, writing, programming or modifying any ECU, TCU or other electronic control unit.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including:

  • Loss of data, ECU files, calibration files or software access.
  • Vehicle downtime, workshop downtime or loss of business.
  • Loss caused by incorrect wiring, operation or programming procedure.
  • Damage caused by unstable power supplies or defective control units.
  • Loss caused by unlawful or unauthorized use of a product.
  • Customs delays, carrier delays or events outside our reasonable control.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, our liability will be limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15

Customer Responsibility and Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, the customer is responsible for losses, claims or expenses arising from:

  • Unlawful, fraudulent or unauthorized use of a product.
  • Violation of emissions, security, intellectual-property or vehicle laws.
  • Incorrect installation, connection, programming or operation.
  • False information supplied during ordering or payment verification.
  • Breach of these Terms or additional software license conditions.
16

Export Controls and Sanctions

Products may be subject to export-control, customs, sanctions or import restrictions. Customers must not purchase, export, re-export, transfer or use products in violation of applicable laws.

We may refuse or cancel orders involving restricted destinations, sanctioned persons, suspicious intermediaries or prohibited end uses.

17

Force Majeure

We will not be liable for a delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, civil disturbance, government restrictions, sanctions, epidemics, customs action, carrier disruption, labor disputes, cyber incidents, infrastructure failure or supply-chain interruption.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify affected customers and resume performance when reasonably possible.

18

Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any contract formed through this website are governed by the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Ajman, without excluding any mandatory consumer rights that apply in the customer’s country of residence.

Customers should first contact us and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve any complaint directly.

Subject to applicable mandatory law, the courts of the United Arab Emirates will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or an order placed through this website.

19

Mandatory Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or replaces rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.

Where a mandatory local law grants the customer greater protection than these Terms, the mandatory legal protection will apply to the extent required.

20

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our business, products, payment services, applicable laws or operating procedures.

The revised version will be published on this page with an updated effective date. The version applicable to an order is normally the version available when the order was placed.

21

Severability, Waiver and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

A failure or delay in enforcing a right does not waive that right. These Terms, together with the product page, order confirmation, Delivery & Returns Policy, Privacy Policy and any applicable software license, form the agreement relating to the purchase.

22

Contact Information

Questions about these Terms, an order, delivery, return, warranty or payment should be submitted through our Contact Us page.

Please include your full name, order number, email address and a clear description of the issue.
